Product Details: The board is made of a specially selected high-grade Spruce called hemlock spruce from YunNan Province, China. This type of Spruce is considered as one of the best wood materials to make Go boards because of its beautiful, clean wood grains and fine texture.
The Go board is normally made of several wood pieces joined together to reduce the possibility of warping over time. With a stained natural wood finish the colour of the board is professionally designed to provide a better contrast between black and white game stones. It is eyesight-friendly. This board fits well with stones of 21.50mm to 23.0mm in diameter.
