John Fairbairn: "I didn't find anything I didn't know (as a dan player), but on the other I didn't find much (if anything) I disagreed with, and it also seemed fairly comprehensive. I'd honestly be very surprised if it was not a very useful book for a kyu player, or at least one who is willing to invest in the later volumes as well."
